Pick a target you can reach

If you are still in Emerald Lake, search that area before planning an expedition for a later car. The recorded early rewards include The Burro at Hermit Trail and The Trail Burner at Windy Joe Trail. A newer body does not automatically suit your route better; compare its role before spreading your upgrade budget. [1] [2]

For Das Mammoth, the database points to Lower Midgar Trail. The Marshal is listed at Shabah Ascent in the Tassili n'Ajjer Desert. A similar-looking road, a cosmetic crate, or an unrelated recovery is not a substitute for the named challenge. [1]

Are car unlocks random?

A launch-week Reddit reply initially described challenge rewards as random. Another player corrected that and personally confirmed The Trail Burner from Windy Joe Trail. The release database also assigns specific vehicles to specific trails. Use the named reward in the table; if your build disagrees, record the challenge name and the reward screen rather than assuming every trail can drop every vehicle. [3] [1]

Not every trail awards a car. The recorded starting inventory is The Ding, The Protector and The Trailrat; those entries have no unlock trail. Ninewiki's separate guide uses the same underlying database for its numbers, so it is not an independent second extraction of the vehicle data. [1] [4]

Finished a trail, but the car is missing?

  1. Check the exact trail name against the table.
  2. In co-op, confirm that you personally completed its checkpoints.
  3. Look for the car in the vehicle selection rather than expecting a paint job or an item reward to be a new vehicle.
  4. If the recorded reward still differs, note the game version, area and completion notification for a correction or support report.
