The independent guide

Notes for
the way out there.

Over the Hill Field Notes is an independent game guide maintained by the site operator. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Funselektor or Strelka Games.

How a guide earns its place

Each page starts with a specific player task. We read official announcements, developer answers, community data and named player reports, then organize them into steps, comparisons or checks. A vehicle list should help you find an unlock; a troubleshooting page should say which symptom a reported method addresses.

Evidence and limits

We distinguish developer statements from community observations. Sources are numbered in each guide and link to a compact source list on that page. Dates, game versions and incomplete test conditions are kept beside the relevant advice.

We have not independently played or benchmarked the release build, tested every mod, or measured every vehicle. Screenshots on this site are official promotional game images, identified in their captions. The local manifest generator produces JSON; it does not validate a paint pack inside the game.
