A short extraction checklist
- Locate a fallen meteorite. The community reference describes the radar tracking the nearest fallen rock on the compass.
- Connect to the rock. Each assisting vehicle needs a direct connection. Check that your cable is actually under tension before adding more throttle.
- Match the group to the rock. A larger meteorite may need more drivers than a solo session can provide. Use another appropriately sized rock if you are playing alone.
- Check the reward after extraction. Compare your Pebble total before and after the pull, rather than treating a teammate's notification as your own.
The radar, direct winching and helper requirements are community-documented release mechanics, checked October 19. We have not reproduced the extraction or its numerical thresholds. [1]
If the meteorite does not move
| Observation | What to check next |
|---|---|
| Cable stays slack | Reposition for a clear pull and establish tension. |
| One driver cannot extract it | Check the rock size and required group before assuming the vehicle is too weak. |
| Helpers are attached to a car | Reconnect each helper directly to the meteorite. |
| The group is using a mod | Use that author's mechanics and version notes; vanilla reward assumptions may differ. |
The diagnostic order is our synthesis of the recorded mechanic. It does not promise that a particular vehicle, cable angle or engine upgrade will free every rock. [1]

Pebbles, repeat rewards and the October 16 patch
The developer corrected missing Pebble rewards on repeated recovery jobs and challenge trails in the October 16 update. The same patch adjusted meteorite spawn points. Update first if you are repeating an activity for income, and do not treat a June Demo map pin as proof of a current spawn. [2]
For spending, choose the next obstacle you need to solve rather than buying unrelated upgrades across several cars. Keep the extraction loop and the upgrade decision separate: more Pebbles help only when you know what the purchase is for.
Why this page does not promise a farming circuit
We have not verified a current route or a repeatable Pebbles-per-hour measurement. Community spawn lists describe possible points, not a guarantee that a rock is present at a particular pin when you arrive. The useful check is whether a rock has fallen and can be extracted with your current group. [1]
Report a repeated failure with the area, rock size, number of direct helpers and build number in Steam support discussions ↗ (opens in a new tab). Those details distinguish a group requirement from a location-specific problem.
